Welcome to the BFV (Beck Family Volunteers) homepage. We hope that this site serves as a resource for our staff and school community.
With the 2021-2022 school year, the Beck Family Volunteers (BFV) celebrates our 24th year of operation and service to our school. The goal of the BFV is to enhance the educational experience for our students with the support of our parents and community.
A wide range of activities are enjoyed by our students throughout the year from the help of parents, staff, and our community. Though our school receives state funding, those resources are limited and do not cover all of our needs. The BFV's fundraising efforts help ensure our students have an exceptional experience here at Beck. Our efforts go beyond school book sales and social/fundraising events like the Beck Carnival. The funds raised also help with technology upgrades like new laptops and/or i-Pads for our children to use in their classrooms, purchasing Raz-kids online reading program for Kindergarten and First Grade, field trips, school beautification efforts, assemblies, classroom supplies that may not otherwise be possible along with many more items. In other words, our children benefit from your support that go beyond textbook learning and studying.
We encourage you to be active and would like to utilize your strengths and talents to benefit the entire school. Whether you volunteered in the past or are new to Beck, please take the opportunity to get involved. Your volunteer efforts will help chart a new and exciting course. Additionally, kids are more likely to succeed when their parents are actively involved in school.
Come join us! Free childcare is available too!
